Al-Hedayah Academy was founded in 1991 as a full time Islamic School, the first in the entire state of Texas. It grew as a successful educational institution, growing to enroll 200 children. The full-time education faced challenges due to unprecedented growth and had to be paused. In 2013 the community built a new building to house the masjid.
Al-Hedayah is rooted in providing Islamic education and tarbiyah to broader community. ITQAN institute offers –
1. Full-Time Tahfeeth Program (Ages 6+) IJAZAH / SANAD track with focus on Tajweed, Memorization, Fiqh, Islamic Studies & Tafseer.
2. The Weekend School Program (Ages 4+) has sessions on Sat and Sunday to provide a strong islamic foundations for our next generation.
3. Evening Quran Program (Ages 4+) provides flexibility for parents and children that want to focus on secular and quranic education simultaneously.
4. Adult & College Flexible Quran Sessions provide flexible tutoring and mentoring sessions for individuals that need a flexible schedule.
5. Dedicated Ladies’ Tajweed Programs provide an opportunity for our sisters to learn Quran in a women only environment.
