About Us
Serving the Muslim community of South Florida since 1996
A Legacy of Faith & Service
Founded in 1996, the Islamic Center of South Florida began as a small prayer space where a handful of dedicated families gathered to worship together. Over nearly three decades, it has grown into one of the largest and most vibrant Islamic centers in the region, serving over 8,000 members across Broward County.
Today, ICOSF stands as a beacon of Islamic knowledge, community service, and spiritual growth. Our center provides comprehensive programs for all ages — from daily congregational prayers and Friday Jummah services to Saturday Programs, family counseling, and community outreach initiatives. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, every contribution to our mission is tax-deductible and goes directly toward serving the community.

— A Community MemberICOSF has been a second home for my family. The warm community, the beautiful prayers, and the Saturday Programs have given my children a strong Islamic foundation. We are truly blessed to have this center in South Florida. It is more than a masjid — it is where our family grows in faith together.
