Marriage FAQs
Both parties should bring valid government-issued ID (passport or driver's license). If previously married, a divorce decree or death certificate of the former spouse is required. Two male Muslim witnesses (or one male and two female witnesses) must be present.
After submitting your application, we will review it and contact both parties within a few business days. The Nikah ceremony itself typically takes 30-60 minutes. Please note this is an Islamic marriage ceremony; for legal purposes, you will also need a civil marriage license.
Please contact the masjid directly for information about fees and scheduling. We encourage a donation to support the center's services.
