The Islamic Center of South Florida provides a wide range of services to support the Muslim community and beyond. From daily worship to life milestones, we are here for you.

Daily Prayers & Worship

The masjid is open for all five daily prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha). Our prayer spaces are welcoming and well-maintained, with separate areas for brothers and sisters.

Islamic Marriage (Nikah)

We provide complete Islamic marriage services to help couples begin their journey together in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. Our Imam guides couples through the entire process with care and professionalism.

  • Nikah ceremony conducted by our resident scholar

  • Guidance on mahr (bridal gift) and rights

Funeral Services (Janazah)

During the most difficult times, our community is here to support you. We provide comprehensive Islamic funeral services with compassion and adherence to Islamic guidelines.

  • Ghusl (ritual washing) performed by trained volunteers
  • Kafan (shrouding) according to Sunnah
  • Janazah prayer led by the Imam
  • Coordination with local Muslim cemeteries for burial

Shahada & New Muslim Support

If you are interested in Islam or ready to take your shahada (declaration of faith), we welcome you with open arms. Our community provides a warm, supportive environment for those beginning their journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Prayer times change daily based on the sun's position. Please visit our homepage or contact the masjid directly for the most current prayer schedule. We offer all five daily prayers in congregation.
Visit our Islamic Marriage page to fill out the application form online. After submission, our Imam will contact both parties to schedule a meeting and arrange the ceremony. Both parties need valid government-issued ID, and two Muslim witnesses must be present.
Contact the masjid immediately. We will guide you through every step including ghusl (washing), kafan (shrouding), janazah prayer, and burial coordination. Our trained volunteers and Imam are available to assist during this difficult time.
We welcome you warmly! Simply contact the masjid or visit during any prayer time and ask to speak with the Imam. He will meet with you to answer your questions, explain the basics of Islam, and when you are ready, guide you through the shahada ceremony. There is no pressure or timeline.
You can use our online Zakat Calculator to determine your zakat amount, then donate through our secure online donation portal or in person at the masjid. We ensure your zakat is distributed to eligible recipients in our local community.
Yes, we offer family counseling, marital counseling, and general spiritual guidance through our Imam. For professional counseling needs, we can also provide referrals to trusted Muslim counselors and therapists in the South Florida area.
